Gurobi new LP/MIP solver in AIMMS
Gurobi Optimization and Paragon Decision Technology have confirmed their collaboration by signing a Solver Reseller Agreement. The first release, Gurobi 1.0, is now available with AIMMS 3.9. Future developments for Gurobi will contain QP, Barrier options, and more.
Gurobi Optimization, Inc. is a company founded in 2008 by Robert Bixby, Zonghao Gu and Edward Rothberg and specializes in developing high quality, state-of the-art linear programming (LP) and mixed-integer programming (MIP) solvers. Built from the ground up to exploit modern MIP solution strategies, these solvers represent the next generation in high-performance optimization software. The latest trends in multi-core computing hardware will be exploited.
